Today I’m facing the same issue again and again, it was converting image sequences to video file. If you need to this manually then here’s the step :
- Open blender, and set to sequence editor layout
- import your image sequences
- set the render properties
- render to video file
That’s what need to be done for one batch (one shot) of image sequences. In animation or vfx rendering, we’re dealing with hundred to thousand image sequences per shots, yes per shots. It means there’ll be a lot of shots. And if you need to do that manually, maybe you need a month of work hour or even hire extra staff.
Here I show you how you convert all of the image sequences in available shots to video file using simple shell script and ffmpeg. I’ll try doing this in python later.
